A founder member of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, Sadie performed at the Edinburgh Festival with the notorious Footlights Revue while a student at Cambridge University. She returned to Hong Kong to present Beezwacks on TVB Pearl & a regular comedy slot on RTHK‘s Metro Radio. She represented Hong Kong at the Vancouver Global Comedy Festival, where she was nominated Best Newcomer for her performance in her one-woman stage show, Faces.

Sadie’s recent TV appearances include The Sarah Silverman ProgramWill Ferrell‘s Funny Or Die in Los Angeles. She performed the lead female role of fiery Donatella Del Vecchio in The Del Vecchios for Caryn Mandabach Productions in London 2011. Sadie opened 2012 performing lead roles in two new sitcom pilots, Miss Adventure Roadies, with Toronto-based Summerville Productions in New York.

She is currently delivering a corset-popping performance as ‘Miss Wanda’ in U.S. movie West Of Thunder, a supernatural Western produced by Oscar-winning Dances With Wolves screenwriter Michael Blake & Dragonfly Films’ Jody Marriott Bar-Lev in California. The movie, also filmed in South Dakota & Colorado, premieres at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in May.

An accomplished theatre actress, Sadie recently performed the role of Marie d’Agoult in Liszt’s Portrait opposite RTHK’s Jonathan Douglas & celebrated concerto pianist Mary Wu in Hong Kong. Other theatrical highlights include a lead role in Robert Mackintosh‘s London West End production of Joey & Gina’s Wedding. She honed her improvisation skills training with Second City in America, which opened the door for her to perform as part of the winning team at the 2007 Improv Olympics.

Sadie won a UK Broadcast Award & an E-Rose at the Rose D’Or Television Festival for Dinner Party TV, which she devised, wrote & performed for Channel4.com. She was invited to be a celebrity judge on Channel 4‘s Comedy Circuit alongside Ricky Gervais & Charlie Brooker, won a BBC Talent competition for her performance in BBC3 sketch show Sack The Writer & starred in surreal comedy webisodes of Living In A Box, directed by Robert Young.

An experienced MC, Sadie’s hosted fashion shows & awards ceremonies including TVBs Annual Presentation Show in Hong Kong and The International Asian Fashion Awards in Mumbai, broadcast live on MTV Asia. In 2011 she was a guest performer on MTV Flashmob. In 2012 she will appear as spoof versions of herself in mockumentaries Roadies & Flim for Contro Vento Films.
