Waving Frantically at Life in Cha!
My latest conversation for Cha: An Asian Literary Journal with Lindsey McCallister took me on a wild joyride of nostalgia. Among her many, many achievements, Lindsey founded the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, where I got my first taste of performing. (Yes, it’s all her fault.) Her passion and commitment to empowering young people through the arts has earned her an OBE and recognition as Tatler Asia’s Most Influential (2021), a Prestige Woman of Power (2025) and a finalist for the AmCham Women of Influence Awards (2026). This year she celebrated her first solo exhibition as a fine artist at Art Central. It makes me want to take a nap just thinking about it! 🤣
