Sadie’s Awards Date with Sir Bob, IDS & a Couple of Young Offenders…
I attended the Centre For Social Justice Awards in London this week with Sir Bob Geldof, the right honorable Iain Duncan Smith … and the right dishonorable Luke Tucker and Dan Doran. I met the former while producing & presenting a series of short films for Channel 4 about the Centre for Social Justice in 2009. I met the latter in prison. Dan Doran was my first mentee at London’s Feltham Young Offenders Institute. I met Luke through The Prince’s Trust on the SLL Wild Horses Project and recently sponsored him to train as an apprentice horse whisperer in California. Neither were formally invited as my awards ‘dates’ but Bob and Iain didn’t seem to mind! 🤣
