Imprint 22 launches at FCC: HKILF 2024
Thanks to the Women in Publishing Society for inviting me to read The Snide Sniper at their launch of Imprint 22 at the FCC on Thursday! I couldn’t have hoped for a more appreciative crowd. What a way to hail International Women’s Day! Congratulations to editor Carol Dyer and the WiPS committee!
I am honoured to have had three very different pieces published in this year’s anthology – humorous short story The Snide Sniper, poem Barking Mad (along with a sketch of Hobo) and a personal essay on how ADHD can turbocharge my creativity but make me feel like a typo.
That was my third and final event for this year’s Hong Kong International Literary Festival and I feel quite emotional that it’s passed. Thank you if you attended an event and for following my literary misadventures online! Congratulations Laura and Team HKILF 2024 for an inspiring festival! Hong Kong may be in transition but it is anything but “dead”.
