My Hump!
This week, Home Kong Kitchen baked and received a record quantity of breads, bagels, muffins and cup cakes from our amazing community of bakers and donators! As usual, the home baked stuff was split between unlicensed shelters and refuges for the homeless, the elderly, refugees and other vulnerable groups, while all the shop bought stuff we delivered to Home Kong charity Impact HK. From now on, we will be making weekly food drives to Impact HK every Friday!
Baker of the Week was Alana Ho for baking 50 delicious cinnamon bagels. I guiltily tried one, before repenting for my sins by baking another 4 mediocre loaves to add to this week’s haul. Lugging vast quantities of bread around has done wonders for my hump! Sadly not the lovely lady lumps kind; more the Quasimodo kind. But my hump’s worth it when I receive heartwarming videos from happy recipients like this! 🥰
(PS – If you’ve ever wondered how to correctly pronounce my name, this is it!!)
