Sadie Busting Rhymes!
Not quite sure how this happened but I am currently being mentored by Esther Hershenhorn, a board advisor for the Californian chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. Esther kindly writes about my first attempt at verse, Rainbow Rascals: “I thought this was a lovely idea, very unusual and no doubt would be a visual treat! The rhymes worked very well and there was a good sense of progression, helped by the rhythm. The end works extremely well, with the sense of a lesson being learnt, though this is countered by the humorous hint it will all happen all over again…”
