HO HO HOme Kong!
WE DID IT!!! Last month, Home Kong Kitchen announced its pie in the sky intention of making and distributing 100 Christmas Gift Socks to our homeless friends through our collaborations with charities Breadline and Impact HK! Thanks to the amazing generosity and support of bighearted Homekongers I can only ever find one sock and we nearly trebled that target!!!
Thanks to everyone who has donated their time, energy, creativity and baking to HKK in 2020! It’s because of you that we are collecting and delivering bread, bagels, muffins and other gifts to homeless people living on the streets, in unlicensed shelters and refuges most days! We are also making weekly deliveries of bread and other gifts every Friday to Impact HK!
There are many ways you can volunteer for Home Kong Kitchen to support the homeless and the charities that transform their lives. You can bake a difference as part of our community of home bakers, you can make a difference by adding an extra loaf to your shopping list and donating it to us, or you can create a difference as an artist on our sustainable bread boxes! To make kindness your resolution for 2021, click HERE! 🧦 🎄 🌟
